Materials Used in This Demo:Ā My favorite limited palette to start with is the Gamblin 1980 line of oil colors. In this workshop, I used Titanium White, Cadmium Yellow Light, Alizarin Crimson, Ultramarine Blue, and Burnt Umber. I also used Gamsol as my paint thinner and Gamblin Solvent-Free Gel as my painting medium. If you'd prefer to paint completely solvent-free, you can substitute Safflower Oil or Gamblin 3-in-One Medium for thinning your paint and cleaning your brushes.
